Kintaikyo Bridgeーone of the most famous wooden bridges in Japan

Today I'm going to introduce... Kintaikyo Bridge Area The Kintaikyo Bridge is a five-arched bridge over the Nishiki River in Iwakuni City. In additon,you can white snakes (designated as natural treasure) at a museum near the bridge! Iwakuni city is in Yamaguchi Prefecture, which is next to Hiroshima prefecture. History "In 1673, the lord of the Iwakuni Domain, Hiroyoshi Kikkawa built a wooden bridge, which was to serve as the prototype for the bridge that exists today. Unfortunately, this bridge was soon washed away.   The following year, the bridge was reconstructed with improvements. Matsue Castleーa treasury, a precious castle in Japan

Today, I would like to introduce... Matsue Castle ( Matsue-jo:松江城) Matsue Castle was built in 1611,in Edo period. The Japanese  castle was built as a defense and military base because of the constant warfare at that time.   It is now one of only 12  existing original castles nationwide and designated as  a national treasure. Site area: 2nd out of 12 castles Height: 3rd out of 12 castles * In addition to the   existing   castle   towers  (tenshu),  there are   restored  tenshu,  reconstructed  tenshu, and  imitation  tenshu. Matsue is the city  on the northwest coast of Japan's main island . The nearest airport is Izumo airport or Yonago airport.   You can take a bus or a taxi from Matsue Station. Inuyama Castleーnational treasure of Japan

 I want to introduce ... Inuyama Castle -the oldest existing style of Japanese castle ( For Japanese→ https://mariotti-travel2.blogspot.com/2021/02/blog-post_24.html ) The Inuyama Castle, built in the 16th century, was among the tens of thousands of castles present at the time. However, currently only 12 remain. The castle, one of the 12, has been designated as a National Treasure.  Depending on the time, you may be able to see the castle and the cherry blossoms together. Inuyama is the city located almost in the middle of Japan.
